Taming anxiety using realistic self-care: Ideas to calm momxiety submitted by moms for moms
Show Notes

There is SOOOOOOOOOO much going on right now to make momxiety go through the roof! Today I’m sharing some of my own, as well as other mom’s ideas, for self-care that can be done during a pandemic.

We have all had our schedules thrown off since March and when we feel like we start getting into a routine, that routine gets shifted, by work/lack of work, in-person/virtual/hybrid/canceled school, and where and how often we can leave our house.

A few great ways to reduce the stress and anxiety that have come from 24/7 with our families include... Get the FULL list and free download at Join.momxietyclub.com
-Set an intention or goal for the day (individually AND as a family).
-Stick to some sort of routine for yourself.
-Put on your favorite music and jam out (sing and dance with your kids)
-Get outside - Take a walk by yourself or request a quiet walk observing nature with your kids
-Jump in the member area of the Momxiety Club and take an exercise class (there are a variety of different replay options depending on your stage of motherhood and if you are going to have a little helper or if you are on your own)
-Schedule a VENT Session
-Write it all out AND then throw it out

-Do something with your hands (color, cross-stitch, cook, bake, organize)
-Sit in your car or outside alone
-Organize and donate what you don’t need anymore
-Cry

*Remember self-care doesn't need to be going to the spa.

Know that we ARE living in an unprecedented time right now! This has been said by many, but I don’t think it can be said enough.
